With pharmaceutical overdoses on the rise, the public is in dire need of an alternative that is both effective and less harmful to the body. If cannabis can replace many opioid painkillers and other potentially life-threatening pharmaceuticals, then shouldn’t these patients have the consumer power to choose pot over pills?
A good majority prefer pot over pills
One of the biggest benefits of medical marijuana over pharmaceuticals is the lack of serious side effects. As shown in the video, pharmaceuticals have side effects that have the potential to kill people within days, while marijuana has yet to receive its first documented death.
